Who is the Goblin?
My name is Gray,
I’m a freakishly chaotic and lucky person. The creature comforts and stability of life have always left me feeling trapped, lured into a false net of security. I feel best when I have some friction, unsteadiness and tension in my life.
I need that abrasiveness to keep from getting too comfortable. From slipping into the apathy, meloncholy and dread of living in the modern world.
Which is one of the reasons I decided to give Van Life a try. The knowledge of a safe space to call my home, that I could craft and create is a soothing balm to my nerves, while the prospect of freedom, adventure and unknown prospects delight the adventurer within me. A balance of my never ending forms of madness.
I’ll be adding and editing this blog as I travel, adding stories, observations, lessons learned and places been, with the occasional chiming in from my cat, Odysseus.
I hope whoever reads this finds it to be encouraging, real, open, and flawed. After all, Goblin or no, I am merely a Human, same as any other.
Welcome, reader, to the Gray Zone
